Donations

PaRC is an all volunteer, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We operate on a very limited budget without government grants or corporate sponsorship. Our financial needs are met by setting minimum fees for services and every penny raised by PaRC is spent in availing help to parents who have injured children and who also need to heal from their own childhood. Additionally these donations enable us to afford services to families especially since the staff also donates significant amounts of their time.

We often have students who cannot afford our services but still need our help. Some families are referred to us by the Courts and some families are referred to us by the Department of Children and Family Services as we are recognized by the county as providing critically needed services to families in crisis. Many of these families are on the verge of losing their children and we know exquisitely well that attachment breaks can be harder on a child than even abuse.

Our goal is never to turn anyone away because they cannot pay. We offer free or low cost services for parents and individuals in financial hardship situations. These services go beyond providing the desperately needed education in parenting; we also provide free child assessment, coaching, individual therapy, and relationship skills training to those who cannot afford it.

Our recent drive is to seek supporters who are willing to set us up for automatic monthly donations from $5 up, so that nothing is given that feels like a loss.
