Changing Lives for Good
the ultimate
parenting class
Good parenting is good science. We will borrow from the most advanced science in our field. Genes design the body, and motor neurons record experiences from birth, which design drives and motives that can be modified with self-awareness. The greater the injury, the harder the task. How we treat each other is learned. How we live in denial is learned. Instinct is a myth. This theory defies blinding myths. We begin with an overview and history of psychological theory in this 16-hour lecture series of eight classes can be watched in the comfort of your home. We have a live Discussion Group that meets twice monthly to discuss theory and practice. The are the essential topics:
I. How to Make a Personality is an overview of the history of psychology and of the fundamentals events in the formation of personality and coping.
2. Diagnosis: How to make all the Personality Disorder
3. Healing: How healing works and the necessary states to practice healing
4. Ages and Stages: Critical stages of development that require specific parenting practices
5. Imprinting: How we are treated will be our natural responses to others, especially as we grow older.
6. Faith Parenting includes how to parent for greatness. It includes watchful trust of the toddler's experiments.
7. Discipline: This class covers ideal ways to discipline a child for the best outcome.
8. Relationship Skills: These skills are essential for mental health, especially interacting with others They include how to choose a mate.
The Relationship Skills Workshop
The Ultimate Parenting Class is a prerequisite for the Relationship Skills Workshop. This class covers how to choose people who would be close to you, how to relate and disagree with them in a healthy way, so that you will be worthy of someone also healthy. It's a good idea to bring them to take the Ultimate Parenting Class and the Relationship Skills Workshop before marriage and children.
Private Therapy
The therapist often discovers that someone in the Relationship Skills Workshop (RSW) has suffered trauma such that they experience uncontrollable rate. The therapist invites that student to private discussions as needed, where there is an opportunity to do "CouchWork", as well as talk more about private issues. However, there is usually no need for private issues. While we offer confidentiality in private sessions, we encourage patients to live authentic lives where there is no need for secrets. We rarely do therapy with a child. We guide parents to do the therapy. We believe that healing the parent so they heal the child is far more practical than sending a child to therapy an hour a seek. One can always return to the Discussion Group for guidance.
