Quick Fix
parenting with conflict resolution skills
(Co-Parenting + Anger Management training)
Co-Parenting, or how parents get along, affects their child(ren). Most parents don’t realize how true this is. Some parents think separating from the other parent will be a relief for their child(ren), as well as for them. Separating can help if the conflict subsides. However, the greatest conflict a child will ever likely endure is when they think they must choose. Choosing is excruciating. How parents handle their own suffering profoundly impacts the child.
Anger Management is often ordered when a judge doesn’t think behavior is criminal or dangerous, but might escalate to be so. If an anger management course is court ordered, the judge thinks you can correct your course with a basic class in how to have a mature disagreement. We're here to help you with that growth. Further, we were once surprised by how many self-referred clients sought to come to Anger Management when they weren’t court-ordered.
We find these two skills mutually inclusive. We cannot fathom them apart. So, we teach them together. If court-ordered to one, and not the other, don’t worry. The worst thing that can happen is that you will still get more than you bargained for, for no more time than you wanted to donate.
You will watch a nine-hour lecture video about Co-Parenting with Conflict Resolution Skills followed by six hours of questions, discussion and practice.
Our goal is to educate parents in conflict resolution skills, to help them separate with dignity, and to model mutual respect for their children's sake. If there are valid issues, we can discuss and likely resolve them in skills at the Relationship Skills Workshop. Ideally both parents attend (separately) on Zoom.
Read Co-Parenting: Healing in the Courts.
Our progam works best, and is cheaper if you have a practice buddy.
If you are attending and have a current/former significant other,
the results will be extraordinarily better when you both are taking the same class.

Therapy
Adults: Private time with Dr. Faye to do trauma work or talk is $200 for a 90-minute session.
Children: Dr. Faye does not believe that the best person to treat your child is a therapist. She believes you, once educated, are the best person to treat your child. Therefore, ideally you would join The Causal Theory discussion group as you work to heal your child. You can attend The Causal Theory Discussion Group for $75 one time or join for $50 monthly.
You can see the schedule and sign up for additional sessons of The Causal Theory Discussion Group or for individual therapy below.
Additionally, as a reminder, if you would like to deepen your skills and address trauma, you are welcome to purchase the Changing Lives for G∞d option by navigating to that page in the header.
